Why Manarola
The village of vineyards and postcard sunsets
Manarola is the Cinque Terre picture everyone carries in their mind: pastel houses stacked on a dark cliff, boats hauled up the tiny marina, and terraced vineyards climbing the hills that produce the legendary Sciacchetrà wine. It is quieter than Vernazza after the day-trippers leave, wonderfully walkable, and home to some of the best sunset views in Liguria.

Named after the lamp of the night-fishing boats, La Lampara adds to the tower's sea views its own terrace suspended over the water — the place where breakfasts stretch long and sunsets demand an aperitivo. Air conditioned for the summer months.

The "bastion" — and the name is earned: from its position on the cliff, the sea fills every window like a painting that changes with the light. The romance of the tower house at its purest, with the village a short stroll away.

"Beatrice's dream" is our Manarola jewel: a luxury apartment for two (three at most) whose terrace hangs over the sea — morning coffee with the waves below, evenings with the horizon turning pink. If you are celebrating something, or simply each other, this is the one.

And here is the local secret — Liersena is two steps from A Piè de Campu, the beloved spot where Yvonne, a renowned sommelier, pours the wines of these very hills and Tino bakes what many consider the best focaccia in the Cinque Terre.
