Where to Park in PORTOVENERE

Portovenere can be easily reached by car or bus from La Spezia. However, it is not connected by the railway line.

It can also be reached, during the summer season, by public boat or private boat from La Spezia. However, unpredictable weather and sea conditions and the sporadic nature of some services make this method more complicated.

  1. there are street car parking spots, marked by blue lines, all along the road that circles the village. The parking tickets can be purchased using the dedicated machines located near each parking area.
  2. there is a large parking area, above the town, served in summer by a bus service to the lower part of the village. The car parking cannot be reserved in advance.
  3. just before reaching Piazza Bastreri you will find the Garage of the Grand Hotel Portovenere. You can contact him in advance and check availability and prices. Portovenere Parking Telephone +390187792170
