The story
Behind the green cellar door
For generations, this was one of Vernazza's wine cellars — the cool, quiet rooms where village families kept the fruit of their heroic terraced vineyards. The entrance is still the one it always had: a traditional green wooden cellar door opening onto Via Ettore Vernazza, the lane that runs parallel to the main street.
Today, behind that door, the cellar has been reborn as an elegant design studio where every detail — materials, light, comfort — was chosen with care. Two large windows open onto the "caruggetto", the narrowest and most picturesque alley in Vernazza, filling the space with soft light and the quiet life of the village.
The studio is exclusively managed by Cinque Terre Riviera, the local tour operator based in Vernazza since 1991. Booking direct means the best available rate, no third-party fees and our concierge office a few steps away on Via Roma.

The caruggetto outside the windows connects directly to the main square: thirty seconds and you are among the restaurants, the harbour, the church on the water. Everything Vernazza offers, without ever needing more than your own two feet.
