How to Use the Trenitalia Website (Step by Step)

#1 SELECT YOUR LANGUAGE

In the top-right corner, choose ITA / ENG / FRA to set your preferred language.

You will only have Italian, English and French, but with the help of a translator, you can easily find your way.

Please, be careful to digit the correct name of your Departure and Destination Station and with the Capital Letter at the beginning of the name.

#2 BUY YOUR TRAIN TICKETS

  • Click on the TICKET menu.

  • Enter your departure station, arrival station, dates, time, and number of passengers.

  • Click Search and choose your preferred travel solution.

  • Complete payment: you will receive your electronic ticket (PNR/code) via email.

#3 Want the Cinque Terre Card Train + Hiking?

This pass includes unlimited regional train rides between Levanto and La Spezia + access to the National Park hiking trails.

  1. From the main menu, click OFFERS AND REGIONAL SERVICES

  2. Select the submenu MULTISERVICE CARDS

  4. Choose your date and ticket type (adults, children, any reductions) and proceed

  • Can I make a same-day round trip? Yes: select Round Trip in the TICKET menu.

  • Will I get my ticket on my phone? Yes, it will be sent by email with a PNR/QR code.

  • Are there children’s fares or discounts? Yes., and also for Seniors over 70 Check the options shown during purchase (these may vary).

  • Can I change or refund my ticket? It depends on the fare type chosen: check conditions before buying. If the fare allows the change, you can amend your ticket online.
